Rosemary + Lemon Fizz

Labor Day is spent with family and friends; barbequing on the grill and enjoying the last few days before the air becomes cooler and the leaves begin to fall. Here is the perfect drink to have at your Labor Day bash! It’s refreshing and simple to make for your guests.


  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Rosemary sprigs
  • 1 ½ oz. honey whiskey
  • Chilled club soda
  • Garnish: rosemary sprig


Bring lemon juice, sugar and rosemary to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Reduce heat and allow for syrup to simmer for 2 minutes. Cool completely for up to one hour. Discard rosemary sprigs.

Add ice to glass. Fill the glass with 4 tablespoons of the lemon + rosemary syrup. Add 1 ½ oz. of honey whiskey. Top off with club soda. Stir and add a rosemary sprig for garnish. Voila!
